ODP: Saw to triangle problem - NOT ANYMORE :)

Hi all!

Why do always simple tasks are done the hard way?
What would you say about 2 opamps, 2 resistors and 1 diode design?
And very old one too...

imagine standard inverting amplifier with gain = -1.
insert diode between opamp's output and feedback resistor.
anode toward opamp if you want positive output, or cathode otherwise.
use second opamp as a follower connected to the diode-resistor node.
voila!
