Baby plays with toys (speak n' spells)

I am a diy-baby and I have modified a speak and spell to make some
great squeaks and squeals. Now, I need to convert the speaker to a
line out. What do I need to do? I assume I need to throw a couple of
resistors in-between the speaker and the circuit board or something.
The speaker has three wires going to it from the circuit board for
some reason (the reason may be obvious, but as I said, I'm just a
baby). Along with what I have to do can you explain exactly why I am
doing what I am doing (what function is being fulfilled by adding what
parts)?

Also, on a completely unrelated matter, can anyone give me the URL for
Midwest Analog Products?
