Sure could be used if one uses a divider and a multipiler.
First convert the linear voltage of the sensor into its reciprocal and
then multiply the CVinput with that.
One thing I found is the use of KTY81 temperature sensors which are made
by Phillips. They have a positive Tempco, and are pretty cheap.
Unfortunately their behaviour is not linear and their tempco is too large,
but they
can be linearized (and the tempco adjusted) by a series resistor.
