Hi Roman,
I think there is no doubt about the 2164's ability to produce
nice oscillator waveforms. I'm sure the exponential CV input
comes handy. The most important question is what
about temperature compensation. Is the internal expo function
just one single be voltage (bad), part of a transistor pair
(better), or even fully compensated like a CEM3340?
What does it need in terms of external components to get
at least the thermal stability we're used to from differential
pair + tempco resistor ?
