Thanks to everyone for help on my power supply/lfo problem from a couple days
ago. By implementing bits and pieces of >>everyones<< suggestions I
managed to get the virbrato problem under control - close enough for Rock 'n
Role as they say.
I may yet use the brute force method of installing a seperate psu just for the
lfos and any other noisy modules that I do inthe future. Which is to say that
the virbrato is not completely gone, but very close though.
BTW, I've noticed a very strange psychoacoustic effect in that, now, if I just
listen to one of the VCOs generating a straight tone, the virbrato is pretty
well undetectably. But if I listen and also look at one of the LEDs flashing
on the LFO, only at that point can I detect the tiny bit of FM in sync with
the LFO. The visaul clue seems to tune my acoustically challanged brain in
to the very slight fm that is still there. Maybe that''s why I like to stare
at spectrum analysers so much. 8^)
Thanks!
Kevin
