Of course, but OTOH you need pretty exactly 90 Deg for good sideband suppression.
I doubt that very little erros will be visible with this "Lisajous" figure
method. And then you don't know, where the sideband suppression is spoiled.
Is it the network, the multipliers or the quadrature osc?
