Well there is always 'something' holding the strig line high when it is not
'shorted', so the question is, can the logic sink enough current to pull the
line down? and also, will the logic be fucked by having + whatever applied to
its output? (I don't personally want to apply +15 to the output of some CMOS
running at 5v).
