Samps Dump Standard devices
Yamaha TX-16W OS 1.x or 2.x only

If a smpler is not on this list, then Samplevision does not claim to
support it. I cannot answer any, "will this or that sampler do this or
that" questions because my ONLY experience with this program is with the
Korg DSS-1, DSM-1 and T1.

If you want to run the windows version, it will run on any windows machine
but is particular about its interface. I have had success with MPU-401 and
Ensoniq soundcard interface and cannot say about anything else.

The DOS version is very particular about its interface. My only success so
far is true MPU-401. And, I have not been able to get the DOS version to
run in Windows without booting out to true DOS.

Given these limitations, please E-mail me and tell me (again) which
version(s) you would like to have. If you cannot receive at least 1.5 MB
as an attachment, do not ask for E-mail. I will be happy to copy it to a
floppy disk and snail mail it to you.

There are NO DOCS for the windows version. Only online help. When I got
the program from SV, no docs were included. The DOS version does have
docs. And, I am willing to copy and snail mail them to you. However, I
must warn you that:
1. The docs are crappy
2. The docs are for version 2.0 BUT were not properly upgraded when they
went from 1.0 to 2.0, so many of the references are not correct.
3. It is thick and I must ask for payment of copying cost.
4. Except for installation things like changing the IRQ from the default of
2/9, you don't need them. I can help via E-mail anyone that needs to
change the IRQ / address.

So, fill my mail box again. I would like to mail out only once to eveyone
in need (so I will wait a day or two) because of the time required at this
end to send the files.

Again, I apologize that this is "off-topic" posting to DIY. However,
there were many DIYers who expressed interest.
