VC delay module ideas?

I'm thinking of designing and building a CV controlled analog delay module
using one of those Panasonic delay lines as the core delay device.  Does
anybody have any good ideas for features something like should have?
Naturally, my first thoughts were to make the clock circuit voltage
controllable.  And maybe a voltage controlled wet/dry mixer on the output.

Are there any useful schematics anywhere for such a design?

If you've ever played with these, you're probably aware of how radical they
sound when they're clocked at audio frequencies (aliasing) so I'm thinking a
low stage count would be best.
