I knew you were expecting this *sometime*

  I myself am a musician that works with electronic instruments 
(keyboards, synths, drummachines, turntables, samplers, sequencers etc.) 
But I have no idea *whatsoever* about what you guys are talking about... 
I was wondering if anyone out there could give me a clue.
I'm of relatively younger age, so I figure I should understand this 
stuff while I can. So whatever links, books, magazines, or personal help 
you can give me would be greatly appreciated.
