I guess we will soon buy one of these new Tektronix scopes
here at work.
They start to build "virtual analogue" scopes (the magic word
is "digital phosphor") to emulated the behavior of different
light intensity you get from analogue scopes. Sounds
familiar ? Well, I'm not as picky with scopes as with
synthesizers ... a few GHz bandwidth for 30k$.
At home, I still work with a 150$ 20MHz analogue scope.
