I was going to make this private...but wat the hell. To be fair
the Ami 030 is faster than the Mac 030 too..

At 300mhz my k6 pc is now almost as fast as my 33mhz Amiga. Of 
cource the k6 runs windoze... and the Ami runs Amigados. The OS 
loads in 10 seconds. I can get on-line pickup my mail, log off and 
shut down before the pc loads. Too bad you can't go down to PeeCee 
City and buy a new one...

The pc may have more horsepower in the long run but it's dragging
way too much dead weight to be a speed demon. Even if you put a 
refrigeration unit on the processor and run it up to 1000mhz.

Micocrap minimum requirements for win'98 is a 166mhz pentium 32meg
of ram. I predict by Y2K it will be up to 233mhz 48meg. They know
what a crap product it is because after '99 you will have to buy
NT. Not that I think it's any better.
