I'm in the planning stages for a sequencer based loosely on
the Superseque. My first planned addition is voltage controlled
stage select exclusive-or'ed with the clock stage select. This
allows you to select any order of stages. For example, when
the output of the 4 bit ADC is 0x0F (1111), the clock output will
count thru the stages from 16 to 1:

Clock  ADC    Xor
0000   1111  1111   
0001   1111  1110
0010   1111  1101

etc.

Every possible order of stages can be selected with the VC stage
select input. I haven't found a good (cheap and fast) ADC yet.
I would like to find something that would work in the audio 
range. Anyone have any suggestions?

The other mod I'm considering is modifying the 555 section so
that it can generate an internal clock or process an external
clock. 

If I could find a good source of concentric pots, I've considered
having a separate glide control for each stage (an idea from tomg's
design). Though it may be better to have a VC glide as a separate
module.
