Just to avoid confusion, I have not built such an LFO. (Other than
Osc 1 in the Synthi Slone, see different mail.)
The HiFli LFO is different. There is no sharp edge. like a triangle's.
What it does (at high modulation amount) is like a sine wave up
to, say, half of the max amplitude, then the steepness of the slope
is suddenly raised, and then comes another, larger, part of a sine
wave. Imagine a normal sine waves with tiny extra sines put on top
of it, or a low hill with another smaller, but still rounded, hill on top
of it. Hard to describe ...
