No subject

Hi everyone:

I went to my local components store looking for the CA3080's (I want to
start on my first VC filter).  At the store they gave me a replacement IC
with two numbers NTE996 and 922L (i'm not sure which is the significant
number).  Does anyone know if this IC will do (I was thinking of building
one Tomg's filters, but either way I've notiecd that many filters use the
3080)
