Frontal Lobe Help?

I just aquired a Cannon Research Frontal Lobe unit for Korg synths.  I had
intended to use it with its PCM adapter to download new PCM samples into
my Wavestation AD.  But it doesn't seem to work on the AD.  The manual
says it is for the M1, T series, and WS (wavestation).  And it had
supposedly been run on a Wavestation EX some time ago with no problems. 
It has the correct PCM card pinout but it says "No Connect", indicating
that the midi communication isn't working right.  I've got everything
enabled in the MIDI page of the AD so I'm tossing this out to the list -
anyone familiar with this unit and/or perhaps if the Wavestation AD is not
the same implementation as the regular Wavestation - perhaps resulting in
my problem?  Anyone know anyone who may have worked at Cannon Research
previously - they're gone now.  Sure would be cool to download my own PCM
samples to the AD.....
