Hi All,
I'm back to subscribing. The Wiard project is coming along, I've actually
sold some
modules! (http://www.mcs.net/~maf/html/wiard.html)
I'm finishing perfecting and debugging the modules. I'm also working on two
new designs, the one is a Utility module with updated versions of the ARP
2600 goodies, preamp, envelope follower, multiplier, noise source,
sample/hold, voltmeter, reference source and inverter. Fits neatly in one
module. I used a AD797 for the preamp and an
RC4200 and AD711 for the multiplier. I had to do a survey of analog
multipliers for
a job related function. The RC4200 still comes out on top bang for buck,
their only $0.70 in quantity 1000.
The second module grafts an eight channel mux/demux onto the arbitrary
function
generator board form the Waveform City. That allows getting 8 simultaneous
non-linear
functions from the same bank. I programmed up a bunch of quantizer
functions into a
wavebank so you can get eight simultaneous quantizers. The details of the
experimental bank and quantizers are attached.
Sorry I don't have time to do kits or DIY boards right now. I would like to
offer boards,
but the time it would take to document them is just too much right now.
Glad to see the list is still here.
Best Regards,
Grant Richter
