I mentioned this stuff about a year ago. Some like it some don't.
I do! Caig Labs. DetoxIT DN5. I have used it for years to repair
pots switches ect... for a huge pile of stuff. No complaints no
returns. I have never had a problem.
1. blow out the pot with clean dry air..(NO OILERS)
2. only use a small amount
3. work the pot to spread it arround
4. blow out the excess

WD40 - NEVER EVER USE THIS!!!! for pots & switches. It will
attract so much dirt and crap the part will be coverd next
time you look at it. If you need to get a stuck lug nut off
your car or quite down a door henge it works pretty good.
BTW the can says - NO OZONE DEPLETING CFC'S approved sub
for Freon TF. I used to use F'TF to clean laser disk prisms
and CD lenses because it was zero residue. I do not sub DN5
for F'TF. I use Tech Spray Freezer 1672 it's a UK product
the US contact is.
