wiring pots?

Ok this is probably a simple one, but here goes.
  I'm looking at the schematic for Tomg's VCA 3360 /as an example) and I'm not
sure how to wire the pots.  From what I can tell each pot only has one wire
going to it.  However the pots have 3 connections, so where does the wire
connect.  Too the middle and then wire connector 1 to 2.  Or is it to either 1
or 3 and then connect the remaining two together, or am I simply not reading
the schematic properly and there are actually three wires coming from the
board to each pot?
