TEMPCOs have been ordered

I placed the 1K 1% +3500ppm tempco resistor order today.
Estimated delivery time is 5-6 weeks. I am using it in the Moog
filter module (hey, I like my MG-1 design! But the top ladder pair
will be a SSM2210 NPN device, a slightly better LM394 that you can still buy).

So, there are about 80 left. If you want some, visit

and place an order between now and Nov. 15th.

In response to several inquires: Electronotes designs use a 2K
value, ARP uses 1.87K, ....

The 1Ks can be substuted if you re-scale the final divider (usually the
infamous "volts/octave" trimmer), which is usually on the output
side of the summing amp. The base-emitter junction of the log amp
doesn't "know" where/how the voltage got there, just that it is the
proper range (I forget the correct value, but it's around 1mv/octave).
