Better isn't the right word. Every couple of stages will produce one
additional notch in the frequency response. You will want at least
6 stages for a deep "swooop" sound, but 4 stages seem to be the
optimum for "unlocking" my CX-3 organ. The 14-stage ARP can
sound almost like a Flanger, and even a simple Notch filter (2-pole)
can produce a (very weak) phaser-like effect.
