Hey, thanks...no basically I bought it from someone for 10$ and it
wasn't working. I've checked all the voltages and everything is reading in
at 5V or 12V + or - respectively. I replaced the Z80 CPU. When I took it
to a local electronic supply house they looked at it and said it looks like
it could only be a few things...the crystal oscilator, the transistors, bad
cables...i checked out the continuity of the inner ribbon cables, but I'm
not quite sure what to look for in the oscilator or transitors. Like I said
I'm new to this and I apologize if these are really basic questions. But I
find it all really fascinating and I'm planning on taking an electronics
class here in San Francisco soon!

Basically when powered up the sounds trigger once, the LED read out is just
sort of garbled and nothing works! I was told it could also be some latches
but I'm not sure how to check these...

Once again any and all help greatly appreciated, I'm obsessing over fixing
this thing and I need to move on!: O

Thanks
Tom
