Studio 440 Resonance mod

just wondering if anybody else has one of these beasts...
I was looking at the cem3389 signal processor chips of which this unit
has eight..
I *think* I have come up with a very simple way to add resonance to the
filters of it..
It *seems* as though one of the pins just needs 0-5v to add
resonance...I think I will try to just add a pot from the 5v supply to
the res pin and see what happens..
I *have* heard of some of these floating around with resonance knobs on
them so it seems the legends of the mysterious studio 440 with resonant
filters are true...
Anybody have any caveats to doing this? Any horror stories?
