Hello, Try a search for an Exar 2209 or more commonly XR2209. Assuming
the ULN2209 to be the same thing, it's a "precision oscillator" though I
seem to remember it's not terribly well suited to synthesizer stuff (small
linear CV sweep I believe). It wouldn't surprise me if the 2212 is a
related device. The 2209 is related to the popular XR2206 fucntion
generator (tho not popular for synthesizers).

I can snail mail you both these sheets as I have no way to put things up on
the net... yet. Send me that address!

I can't confirm that they're obsolete but ask anyone with a box (synth)
full of 3340s - designing around obsolete parts can bite you in the booty
later on....

Take it easy,

Buck
