LM2240 Programable timer?

LM 2240 Programmable counter/timer    Anyone know anything about this IC?  I
noticed it while browsing it the National databook, and thought it looked
interesting for a possible seq. clock.  However, it does not show up on
National's website or in supply catalogs.  Is it now obsolete?  Does anyone
have a spair or two that they'd be willing to part with or know a source?
