HAte to be a pedant, but the Mini didn't use the 3046, though some of the 
smaller later Moog monosynths did. The post 10175 Mini's used UA726C heated 
transistor pairs in their VCO convertyers and the eearlier ones used expos made 
of discrete..
      The 3086 is way inferior to the CA3046. Jorgen reported a big differenece 
in CV feedthrough on the Modulus VCA when he used a 3086 instead of the 3046. 
I've pretty much redesigned the PCB now to include his recommendations on 
allowing the CV feedthrough to be minimised and also to allow the circuit to be 
used with CV's as signals as well as audio...
