The TB-3030, superbassline is now starting design work. Thanks for the
interest and input. I will update you all on any interesting findings.
The design
concept is a standard bassline sound-a-like with optional extras... I
have been asked to do attack control on the EG, a LFO, and a second VCO
with sync and tri output. Only time will tell whether I do any or all of
these, there were many who just wanted a clone. However, various points
on the circuit will be available for insert points to use with your
modular or other analogue beast. The glide will be implemented and
triggered by legato playing and/or a gate type signal. No retrig on your
MIDI-cv convertors for this. The accent will also be featured, probably
controlled by the velocity CV. The board will be for rack mounting, but
you may of course wire the pots to any front panel of your choice. All
the parts will be chosen to give the original TB sound. This will be
interesting since I don't have a TB now so I am going to have to build
one first using the original parts.
