1.) There are CDs out there that have a lot of non custom mellotron
tapes as samples. Some time ago I posted what CD it was...
2.) Taking a short cycle waveform won't work:
I) what is a single cycle of such a complex waveform?
you'll have difficulties to find the single cycle ends.
II) If you finally obtain a single cycle waveform, it will sound totally
different then your original sample. The characteristic phasing pattern
of the choir sound will get lost, thus it will not sound like choir
any more...
I'll tryed all this with a simple sample (me singing Ahhhh), and it
didn't work at all. So a complex choir sample won't work neither...
