One idea:  Get impulse responses for various sounds in the Buchla.  In
other words, run a 1-sample long pulse through the system, and record
the result.  The output could then be convolved with another signal
(using software like Csound) to "color" the input signal with the nice
analogyness of the Buchla.  This would work well for running things
through the spring reverb unit on the Buchla (if it has one) - convolve
the impulse response you get with any other signal, and you get a nice
Buchla reverb sound.
