Well, I wasn't thinking of using just a static wavetable. Both waveform
sequencing, waveform fading (vector synthesis) etc. are part of my goals.
In addition, I was thinking of putting a microcontroller into the project,
so maybe waveform interpolation would be feasable too. In short, doing
lots of interesting stuff which isn't practical using analog oscillators.

I know the PPG does a lot of these things, but I don't plan on buying
one, and I was more thinking of making this a module for integration into
a modular synth.

Big flash memories are cheap these days, so I was thinking of using lot of
different waves, BTW.
