Akai VX-90 audio input

yeah, one for each voice, so the recommended way to do it is to connect
all the inputs in parallel, so that whatever voice that happens to be
playing, the audio can get through. :)

well it depends. if you manage to plug mains into it, yes. But I don't
think you'd be silly enough to try that.

However be careful, I've got no idea what protection if any the thing
has inside it, all anyone ever says abouy this is you SHOULDN'T have any
problems with line level signals.

I keep meaning to do this, but I never actually get around to buying the
plug.
