Hi,
the marked end is the cathode.
Btw, the circuit symbol

nicely matches the marking in the diode:

Well, exept there's no black triangle on the diode :-)
Sometimes the diode part # is color coded, with one of the rings being wider,
indicating the cathode end. Have seen that with lots of 1N4148s.
