I tried using EWB 5.1 to hear a circuit about 6 months ago. The only way
I could do it was to write time stamped output via the disk icon and
resample the waveform with equal-spaced sampling. (To the best of my
knowledge there is no way in EWB to force equal-spaced waveform
samples.) I used Matlab to interpolate, resample and filter but the
sound quality was marginal and the process was slow. 

I talked to Ricardo Meyer (800-263-5552 x262) at Interactive
Technologies and asked him if the next version of EWB could include
equally spaced time stamps. I also suggested the addition of a spectrum
analyzer (the current bode plotter can't plot freq. response of
arbitrary input). He mentioned that features are added by priority of
demand and said he would tally my requests.
