This sounds reasonable - every CMOS device I know draws a
rather high current when switching from one state to the other.
I haven't checked with the CMOS timers, but I would be
surprised if they were an exception.
The EDP WASP users RC-Filters in both, VCC and GND,
to achieve some decoupling. Does anybody know how good
(or bad) this works ? I. e. does the WASP suffer from unwanted
sync, too ??
