On-line data sheets

I found a good website for IC data sheets, and yes, 
the CD40174 is there, along with all that other good 
CMOS stuff.

You can work your way through the categories, and find the 
exact data you need.  One catch here:  They'll want you to 
register and get a member ID and password.

This seems a very well organized and comprehensive site.

Here's an example of how to do a search:

Click on "IC Index,"
then "Logic and Timing,"
then "CMOS/BiCMOS,"
then "4000 Family,"
then "Flip-Flops,"
then "CD40174BC,"
then "Data Sheet,"
then fill out the "registration form,"
then click on "Download File."

Simple, eh?
