I'm on few lists that *don't* have problems - I haven't seen a PC-DAW digest
for ages.
It's an everyday aspect of the internet - as it gets busier, it gets filled
with more traffic, and disproportionately more noise, and servers get
busier. It may be just a small problem that can be fixed easily. The best
bet is to try to mail the list admin, rather than adding to the load on the
mail server by mailing the whole list about it ;-) But what the hell, I'll
do it too...
I have a threshold level of signal to noise for mailing lists below which I
will only subscribe if there is a digest version.
I switched to the digest mode of analogue heaven in 1996, but synth-diy has
remained one of the best quality lists I've come across.
I don't think anyones ever been asked to 'suck my dick' here...
