LDRs:
linear enuff, but slowly shutting down - i.e. driving LED with square
wave about 5-10 Hz will produce something like sawtooth in
LDR resistance changes
dynamic range?
with exp converter at LED current it's easy to acheive at least 50dB
(eg. 3ms - 1s) but you'll probably would have to make, say 10 LDR-LED
devices and choose 3 (ADR) which will match
