Adding a second Oscillator to a Moog Opus 3

Hi All,

As a beginner in the analog synthesis DIY building area, I have some
questions.

Should I attempt to put an additional oscillator into my Moog Opus 3 or not?

To do this I understand I will have to build a whole new keyer/divider
board.
This would require the following:

1)	Top Octave Synthesizer chip (MO82B or MO83B) - $40.00 US
2)	12 TDA 1008 keyer/divider chips - $6.00 US each
3)	Duplicate the Moog 2 Mhz Oscillator - $?.?? US
4) Small and simple 5 input mixer - $?.?? US
	(to mix the 1' , 2' , 4' , 8' and 16' output from Oscillator 1
with Oscillator 2)
5)	Miscellaneous stuff I don' know about yet - $?.?? US

That's allot of bucks! More than $112.00 US!

Any comments on how (or if I should) proceed?
Is an additional oscillator worth it?
Will it fatten up the sound significantly?

Thanks,

Malcolm
