i need keys for an analog synthesizer

Hi!  I'm currently not subscribed to your list, but I'd like to know if
you can help me find something that I need for a design project that I'm
doing for an electrical engineering class...

I'm designing an analog synthesizer, but I need *at least* a 1-octave
keyboard to trigger a VCO.  The trick is... I only need the keys, and
whatever physical mechanisms that [hold them in place] and control the
contacts.  Therefore, tearing apart a keyboard with MIDI won't do me much
good... or will it?
