Fatman (sick of it yet ?)

I am selling my Prophet 600 to pick up a fatman and acouple of vocoders
from PAIA. The reasons for the Fatman are many (cool Modifications I
wouldn't couldn't do to the prophet, takes up less space), but I have a
couple of questions about it:

1) How stable is the MIDI in the Fatman? Anyone got the MIDI imps
(implementation chart) handy?

2) Could the Fatman compete *sonic-ally* with the Prophet? The prophet can
be a bit thin at itmes, and I heard the Fatman has weak bass, but I'm
betting removing the user "fail-safes" and adding the Subharmonic bass
would take care of that problem.

3) Has anyone tried to patch a Fatman out into a semi-modular
configuration? That would be cool, yes? How about some tips/hints on how
to get this done?
