Hello to all the synth enthusiasts!

I am Arpad Beszedes from Hungary, and I'm building a polyphonic analogue
synthesizer. I don't now how much is this mailing list active, but I
hope that someone reads this message!

And here is my first question:
My synth is based on the Elektor Formant synthesizer. Currently I am
designing its polyphonic ADSR. As some of you probably know, the a, d,
and r phases are accomplished via charging and discharging a 15uF
electrolitic capacitor through a 1M potentiometer.
This is what I would like to replace by a voltage-controlled resistance.
Could somebody help how to accomplish this?
My idea is to use a FET as a vc-resistance controlled through the gate.
(but when the C discharges, the drain-source voltage also falls down,
and at some point the FET will not conduct anymore). What could be the
solution?
Or could somebody share a schematics of a VC ADSR?

Thanks in advance!

Regards:
  Arpad.
