Sorry for not responding to the original....

Just in case the copper foil should lift up I have a possible solution. As
long as the foil did not break off altogether, this has worked for me in
the past:

1. get yourself a set of tiny files.
2. the area of the board where the foil lies shloud be very carefully
scraped, to remove any rosin left behind from the solder.
3. clean the area of all dust and debris, I have even at times used a bit
of alcohol on a qtip to further clean the area.
4. use only a drop of superglue on the area of the board where the foil is
to be placed. BE VERY CAREFUL NOT TO MAKE A MESS WITH THIS STUFF.
5. use a tooth pick to gently push the foil back onto the board until the
glue has set up.
6. to get the excess glue out of the any component holes, use a very fine
pick. shack full of over priced 2nd rate radio parts has a set for about 3
bucks or so.

Good luck. the first thing I ever toasted was a Paia "Gnome" what a mess I
made out of a perfectly good kit. Back then there wasn't such a thing as
the internet so I basically had to toss it up to experience. Hope this
helps.
