To be fair to Clavia the NM does have audio in/out. I don't know anything
about it's bandwidth when used as a modulator though. 
Many of us already have MIDI-kyb's with kyb with a range of 5 or more
octaves aswell. I wouldn't want it to be bigger, the other junk I have
fills my work room anyway. I for one LIKES the concept of a small
carryable synth with (at least semi-) open architecture. 

But of course, a few CV in/outs, digital in/outs (maybe that ADAT 8-ch
interface that may mixers and other gear seems to be supporting more and
more) and most importantly - a possibility to use more than 40 something
modules in one patch would be VERY nice.
