I HATE software synths... ok now before I get my head set upon by a 
bunch of flamewielding software programmers, they have their place in 
the market... but SURELY the point of a modular is that it is OPEN and 
allows the user to do thing you cant, yes? so, ok I have my nord modular 
and I wanna make a bi-quad-VCA-with ring mod-XY transform 
synthesis-Hysteris filter-sigma delta unit  (dont ask).. I build it and 
now, how do I integrate it into my "OPEN" system, you CANT... software 
synths have the SAME limitaions as say a JX8p, DX7, DW8000, they ONLY 
allow you to do what THEY want you to do, this is NOT an open system.
