Sorry for the delay. I wanted to finish the HiFli before I start scanning
the circuits.
Now it is finished, at least on the bench, with lots of alligator clips
making connections
between the boards. I have tested it last night with the VL7 as a guitar
surrogate,
and yes, I think it's worth putting this into an enclosure, makin a
faceplate and so on.
It should get some extras, like a LP filter for the FUZZ, and a S&H for the
phasing
board, and maybe some other things.
I won't put the schemos up to a web page, but I think it wouldn't hurt to
send out
a few copies via private email. So just raise your fingers if you want to
discuss some
circuit details. There's quite some interesting stuff, like a logarithmic
envelope follower
which will detect the start and stop point of a note over a wide dynamic
range, similar
thing for a sub octave generator.
It's approx. 1MB of gifs. I have decreased the resolution and color depth
until the
scans match the (very bad) quality of the original, so don't expect
miracles.
