A belated introduction

Although I've been reading this list for over a year, and posting
occasionally, I have never introduced myself. I started building
synthesizers in the early 1970s. My first fully functional synth was built
completely on AP socket protoboards.
I bought a surplus 61 key keyboard and designed a hard-wired digital
scanning circuit with 7400 logic and a DAC08 to create the control voltage.
Then I started designing and building various modules including VCO, VCF,
VCA, and other more esoteric ones.
I have set up a page showing the results of my work, and some old
schematics. It is at

I haven't been very active in building for a long time. I keep the
Monophonic Synth dusted off, but rarely play it anymore. I have a hybrid
analog/digital synth, the Rhodes Chroma, which is a lot easier to program
and create analog sounds on. It is polyphonic and best of all it can store
the patches. Out of necessity, I have become somewhat of an expert in
Chroma repairing.
I enjoy the list, and everyone's interesting posts. I'll keep contributing
occasionally when I have something to offer.
Thanks,
Tim.
