The first Tremolo I ever came in contact with was on a Mongomery WARD
amp (solid state) a friend of mine had with one switched knob that
controlled both rate and depth. I fell in love with the effect. I had no
idea what it was doing I just thought it sounded cool. I later bought a
used Yamaha amp just because it had Tremolo, but it is very noisy. That
friend of mine and I have been wanting to build it into a guitar for
quite awhile.

I would also be interested in the tube circuit. I've seen a few sites
that have schematics for vintage amps, maybe the circuit can be
isolated.

THANKS to everyone who helped me with my questions now
