LXP5 fixed (off topic)

A bit off topic:

My LXP5 multieffect whent crazy the other day. Right in the middle of
recordings the programmes changed, say from pitch shift to echo. The LXP5
does this in a clever, not so disturbing way, however this randomness
can drive you crazy. I like this black box, so I tryed to find the error.
Finally I got the Lexikon FAQ there it was: a self test showed that the
programm dial was broken. This lokks like a switch but works more like
a pot. A lot of LXP1 and 5 suffer from this.  Got the pot and exchanged
it. (Remeber, first assemble all pots, then fronplate (really heavy
alu stuff, that's hardware!), and FINALLY solder new pot. Otherwise
mechanical stress on the board, which is no good.

$50 or so saved and I'm a happy LXP5 user again!
