I do have schematics, infact  a whole article (in swedish I think), on
using a tv 
as a oscilloscope.  By using ordinary sound modules, LFOs, ramp generators
etc 
it should be fairly easy to generate lissajou curves and patterns on a tv
screen. 
That could be fun. But I also want to generate colors, manipulate incoming
video etc.

I do have access to  full service litterature on a videomixer (or
videoswitcher if you're 
in the industry) which uses full analog manipulation of the video signal. 
I guess it 
has a few digital bits an pieces but the signal part is said to be all
analog.  I've looked 
inside it and there is a dense forrest of  trimmer pots. 

The "problem" is that manual litterary is a stack of papers about one
meter high to go thru...  
I guess that copymachine will go warm again :^)
