If you have a decent Mac, here's something you should check out:

It's a crossover MIDI/video app that they're calling a "video sampler".
The fades/effects/whatever are all controllable through MIDI in
realtime,
along with all of the source video clips.  (possibly Quicktime only?)

My fastest Mac is an '040 with no FPU and only 8MB of RAM, so I can't 
even run the demo.  (I'm still waiting for that fabled 6 PCI slot G3- 
I have plenty of obsolete computers sitting around already ;)  

This thing sure sounds cool in the website hype, though.
